Steve founded Richardson Financial Services, Inc. in 1997 and serves as the firm’s President. Under his leadership, the team delivers comprehensive financial planning tailored to each client’s unique goals and needs.

Steve has built the firm around a holistic, client-focused approach. Through a thoughtful discovery process and deep expertise in investment strategy and financial markets, the team develops personalized financial plans designed to evolve with each client’s life. Steve and his team approach every relationship as trusted financial partners, guiding clients with the same care and oversight as a personal Chief Financial Officer.

Steve holds an accounting degree from Bentley College and is both a Registered Investment Advisor and a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He is a Shareholder and Partner at Walter Shuffain, a full-service CPA firm providing tax, accounting, audit, and business consulting services. In addition, Steve serves on the Board of Directors of Charles River Bank and several privately held companies.

Steve and his wife have four children. Outside of work, he spends as much time as possible at Lake Winnipesaukee, where he enjoys golfing, hiking, rowing, and being outdoors. Steve is an avid reader with a preference for history and biographies, and he appreciates time spent away from screens with a good book in hand.
